The U.S. Economy: Remarkably Resilient, So Far

During this entertaining and informative session, Elliot Eisenberg, Ph.D., will provide a financial overview and outlook of the economic environment. To that end, Eisenberg will share his thoughts on how all four parts of GDP will perform, what changes are in store for the currently tight labor market, the path of inflation, the thinking of the Fed regarding inflation, the most likely path of interest rates, and the likelihood of a recession. Dr. Eisenberg will also delve deeply into housing and in particular, new home starts, new and existing home sales, inventories, refi activity, new and existing home prices, as well as default rates, the shape of the yield curve, and much more. Before concluding and time permitting Eisenberg will take questions from the audience.
